Okay!! I can now say I have tried this. The ultimate junk food. Deep fat fried twinkies!!!! No kidding. Some of the guys I work with found a place in SLC that makes these. We had to try them even at $10.00 for two twinkies.
So three of us shared one plate. That was plenty and I must say not greasy like I expected. It has a cake like batter coating, served with a scoop of ice cream and some cherry topping. It melted the creamy center of the twinkie and it was not sloppy sweet. You can go to the Bayou in downtown SLC, if you're dying for one.
Must tell you that they will card you. (so no kids here)!!!!! Kitty just about ate it all himself.
