Saying goodbye!

We celebrated Heather and Mark's wedding, Christmas, Baby Blessing, Jessica's bridal shower and then welcomed a new year and Jessica and Mike's wedding. Then it was time to send the Iowans home. It will be a while till we see them. It's always hard to say goodbye.

Ducky, Ducky who's got the Duckie?

We had a nice visit from the traveling Bodily duck.....

He's off on his adventure, quess where he is now?
See you way later. Little kitty said goodbye.

Blessng Day

This was a great day for little Caitlyn. They waited till everyone could be here for her blessing on December 27th. We had dinner at our house and had lots of company, with Rach's family, the Butikoker's and the immediate Cook family.
What a great family and it was so fun to have them here for Christmas. Just one of our great activities for the holiday season.
Then we took the opportunity to have a grandkids picture. Everyone was here.

more Christmas fun

So we have a traveling zoo. Each family was given an mini friend for Christams that will travel with them on all their adventures for the year. Then we get to see where everyone has been. Where will they go? Mom and Dad will take this little black kitty on their travels. The M family will take along their little giraffe. Who else gets to travel?

Here they all are. We'll see your travels all year long. We haven't seen the last of you yet.. . . .

This turned out to be a favorite game. Wackee Six. We have some very competitive kids. It was all so fun. My Christmas flower that is huge. Always love flowers.

Christmas is here!

I was so excited, I have always wanted a four wheeler, the kids are gonna love it. We're gonna have fun now. We had family fun and lots of presents. Our little girls got some fun clothes for look alike.

Doug got his wish. It was the best to have them here and bring Caitlyn our new little one and our 11 th grandchild.

The stocking store, a fun way to fill your stocking.

More than just Grams, had fun on the four wheeler. The only thing, we didn't have much snow for sledding, but we wore out what snow we did have.
We didn't want the fun to end.

Countdown to Christmas

Our tradition that involves many hands-soooo good. Rickie makes the carmels, we (the Andersen's) shape them and dip them and then we eat them. We always have good intentions of sharing them, but they seem to disappear before we get that done. What a great day. Torrey has worked so hard and many hours and drives to Logan he graduated with his Phd. We are so proud and glad we got to go down.
Blurry picture I know but our Bee Basketball player is what we spend a few nights a week watching. The stars were aligned on the night they played Hillcrest. The whole family was there, the Utah family got here, the Iowa family got here and of course the locals and we had a great time. (Does that fellow by Megan look familiar?)

Tyler loves Megan and he had a chance to give her a few pointers before the game.

Here's all the greandkids (except Caitlyn) she's a little small for a noisy ballgame. Go Bees! Go Megan! We were the best Pep Club ever. Did I mention that they won handily.

Aren't they so fun, we loved it. Christmas is getting closer.

Thankful

Yes the turkey takes a hit for the team. Troy's famous deep-fat fried turkey. We celebrated at Marci and Troy's and the Utah dudes came and we were able to have Mom and Ron be with us. (Whoever asks them first gets the privilege of have them come for Thanksgiving dinner.) Jerry and Kim fam and Eric and Linda's fam. We tried a thankful tree and each person had a leaf (large ones) that everyone expressed their thanks to each other. Then the favorite part of the day for some, nap time!!!!!!!!!!

We are so blessed and never get tired of being with our family.
