June Bridal Shower

Erica and her soon to be mother in law. She told a fun story about Justin and Erica's engagement. The bridal shower was in Grandma Judy's beautiful yard, with lots of friends and families.
Aunts and cousins having a good chat at the shower.

Erica's new truck!!!! She's our little country girl now.

Here comes the bride with her proud dad. Big brother Brandon escorts Grandma Olsen
Yummy refreshments, only the best for the quests. A great celebration.

June Surprise from Iowa

Look at this sweet face. This is what I wake up to each morning. She came all the way from Iowa with her Mom and Dad and surprised us late one early June night, totally unexpected, but very excited to have them here. They are officially done with Iowa and will move on to Casper, Wyoming for a year. She is our sunshine everyday.

Remembering Darby

Well my Young Women friends and I headed to Darby on a rainy afternoon. Lot's of changes are in the works and we had to see our beloved Darby, where we spent many nights warding off the mice, cookie cookies for the young women, laughing and crying and making sweet memories. Annette, Julie, Shauna and myself, friends forever. We stopped in Victor at the Knotty Pine for some good Idaho French Fries.
The lodge with a new fireplace front and many other upgrades.

The bearproof pantries, yes, there are bears at Darby.

The Stake Cabin where many trees were clear cut as required by the Forest Service and the best improvement of all are the new bathrooms. We love Darby.

July 4th !!!!!! Where did June go?

The sun had just come up this morning, Rick had gone to change the water and I looked out the window and this baby moose was running around our yard. He was nibbling on the apple tree. Then I scared him and he swam across the canal and ran away.
Happy 4th-God Bless America........
