Randomness

While in Boise we got to see some cute hair bows that Kathie and Kiersten had made. Then Kathie helped me make a couple. Kiersten's girls had fun designing some of their own.
Money, money, money.........The grandkids were all given a state quarter collection book and Dalton really got into it finding coins that he could use to fill the books. I would bring home rolls of quarters and they would go through and find the ones that they needed.
Do you like bread? Jerry and Kim have found their favorite bread. One bad thing it is in Utah. So anytime someone goes or comes from Utah, they bring them a new supply. I only bought 15 loaves for them! Funny. It really is good bread. It is from Aspen Mills and they sell it at the Sam's Club in Utah. MMMMMMMM good stuff.
I washed my car today! I usually have to wait for spring, but I just couldn't stand it anymore.
I found a fun store in Pocatello and had a fun adventure with the new GPS. More to come!!!!

March

So we had a fun weekend tending the girls. Nicole and Bri got to stay with us. Grandpa ran them around to their ballgames and had lunch at Artic Circle, while I was at a camp meeting. Then later when Maeley came over he made them some milkshakes, one of their favorite treats. It was so fun I had to put the picture in twice! (Still don't know how to remove a picture!) I'll learn.
The next week I had to go to SLC for meetings and then got to stay with the Utah family. We made plans to sew a costume for our 4th grader. She will be in a pioneer production that their school will put on. She picked out the fabric and pattern with bloomers and everything. Isn't she cute?

Of course we played games and had fun.

It was good weather and we took the opportunity to be outside when we could. Spring might be coming!!!!!! We even had the opportunity to watch Megan play a little club volleyball. (Sorry no pictures).

Travel to Boise

Fun times. We headed to Boise on a Thursday to watch the State Girl's Basketball tournament. We took Megan with us as the Andersen's had a delay for a funeral. Then they would be coming the next day. Bonneville has had a great season and were district champs with high hopes of taking the 4A state Championship, of course, we had to go watch as we were now totally involved in their season, with coaches and players. We stayed in Boise, watched some good games and cheered a lot. We also had some down time and ventured out to see family. We came across Kiersten's house and got to take a tour. So nice and great for their growing family. We were particularly interested because it was designed after Jerry and Kim's house that Kim had designed herself.
So here is Audrey and Kiersten. Kathie met us there and turned out she spent the day with us.
We got to pose on the beautiful fireplace with Jayclyn and Payson and Audrey.

Then we traveled to Jared and Kristen's and had a great visit there with Kristen and Valleree. Isn't this the cutest little seat for a baby? She can sit right up and watch what is going on. Isn't she the cutest. We had a picnic there and we sewed a snuggee for Kathie. Then we met Paul, Deena, Kim and her friend at the game and we had fun cheering Bonneville on.

Yes, they won the championship game. We are ready to go again next year. We may have an up and coming player involved next year. Huh, Meg!
We also occupied Paul and Deena on Saturday and sewed a snugee for Deena. We will soon all be covered in Snugees. What fun to be with family. Glad you made it so we could spend some time together. ;o)

Valetines, birthday and fun

Valentine party in Utah with some of the ones we loved.

We had many things to celebrate.

Katee bug had a birthday and we decorated cupcakes for her fifth birthday.

Tyler loved Gramps. He calls him "gampa". He stood at the sink while gramps brushed his teeth and just followed him around and he played the Wii thinking he was really grown up.

Kate got to go shopping for her birthday and we found a cute little brown lab puppy at Wal-mart and she calls her Lola.

We also went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and loved the hot chocolate.
We then web cammed with the Iowa ones and went shopping for a pioneer dress that Brook needs for school.
Thanks for the fun.

A Living Doll

I had the pleasure of making a prom dress for my Megan. This was not the final modeling, we were working on the hem, but she made the dress look beautiful. She got to choose the style and color and best of all she chose modest and I am proud of her for that.

I hope she posts her date night pictures on her blog. She definitly looked gorgeous and it sounded like she had fun.

Sweet 16 on February 26th.

Great news

I have to tell you what great news we got this last week. This is what we saw when we web cammed to Des Moines. This is what we saw in Idaho when we connected with the kids in Iowa.......
I was posted behind the computer knowing what the announcement was going to be. Everyone was so excited and congratulations to our Doug and Rach.

This is while we were trying to get on web cam before we heard the news. I wasn't going to put this picture in but I did and don't know how to delete it. Oh well aren't they cute girls.

Yahoo!!!!! A new little cookie coming.

We were there

Here is our #11-JV-she doesn't sit out very much.
This was senior night and they honored the couch's and their wives for the Varsity team.

We have been avid fans of girls basketball this season. We have had fun going to the games and being with fam. The girls have great skills and we have watched them get better and better and been there in the wins and the loses. Coach Buell is Megan's JV coach and they have had a good season and will play for the championship this next week as will the Bonneville Varsity. Speaking of the Varsity they have some great players and we were a witness to an incredible shot by Katy. It hit the news as the play of the week and we think it will probably be seen by many. We tried to put in the link but was unsuccessful. Go to localnews8.com and click on sportslineprep and search for Katy Harker. We'll let you know who the district champs are. GO BEES.

Another Snugee moment

A fun day in January. We have been spreading the snugee fun and helped some of the Bods make their own. They caught on real quick. My brothers were super help. They helped me write the instructions for something that I had in my head.
This is Eric actually sewing his own. He got creative and added a hood on his. We will have to see how he liked that. Did you know that he actually used to sew the skins for airplanes when he was at flight school.
Then to end on a tragic note. Linda sewed her finger! The needle went clear through and they had to pull it out with pliers. ;o( Still a fun day to work with my family. Love you! Enjoy your snugee.

New camera

This is actually one picture that wasn't too bad from the old camera and it is part of the Snugee phenomenon that we have had in our fam that I wanted to record for history. We love our Snugees. I didn't realize how warm and comfy and snugly they would be. They keep you warm when you are reading, watching TV, napping, blogging, studying, playing video games and traveling in the car. Well we have made several and all will agree they don't want to be without their snugee.
This is the second picture I took with my new camera. Parker had just come from his first Pack meeting and we met up at the Bonneville gym for a girl's basketball game and he was so cute in his new uniform and had to take a picture.

Well this is my first picture with my new camera. My cute girls posed for me and as you can see we were at the gym .

So this is my new camera. A Canon powershot. Okay I am on my way. I have some catching up to do.

My Camera :o(

My camera has broken. I am sad. Some of the buttons have stuck and well you can see that it is a disaster.

This is the Andersen "snugee" picture.
This is New Year's Eve at the Morrill family home. Tyler loves the horse and the Christmas tree in the background is not of fire!

This is Kate in her cute costume and performing her dance for us. Well do I need a new camera or what. So I called Jill and she got a Consumer Report top pick camera and she even ordered it for me from Amazon.com. Love it when my kids help me out. Didn't even have to go shopping. So now I can get back to blogging.
